Membership in the tennis club is available to all Gallaghers Canyon residents. This entitles you to play during block booked times - Monday and Wednesday mornings for women (doubles), Tuesday and Thursday mornings for men (doubles) and Saturday mornings for mixed doubles. We also welcome you to attend our various fun social events throughout the season. Please take a moment to read the welcome letter for more information or feel free to call one of our executives.

Welcome letter for New Members

On behalf of the Tennis Club Executive Board, I would like to thank everyone who participated in our Opening Day Event.

The weather was exceptional, the food was extraordinary and the tennis play was great fun.

Thank you to Judita and Jorge for making the grounds so pretty for this event and to Gord for insuring that the water
irrigation system is up and running.

Thank you to Cathy Attfield for making the event go off without a hitch and taking care of all of the essentials for running a smooth event.

And of course a very large thank you especially to Olecia Kelly and all the ladies and men who made the fantastic food and all the goodies to go along with the lovely day.  And to those who helped to set up and clean up, we thank you. We could not create such a nice event without all the diligent work that Olecia put forth to make this event a special opening day for our Tennis Club.

Thank you to everyone who played, had fun and assisted with this event.

Dear Peter:
 
At our most recent tennis club dinner/dance, I noted that you had once again contributed to our silent auction and I am sure Olecia has expressed her appreciation for that contribution.  However, I want to express my gratitude on behalf of the Gallagher's Canyon Tennis Club for the kind assistance that you have provided over the past few years.  You have permitted us to tap into your electrical supply and most recently you agreed that we could could extend your irrigation lines into the area where our club has planted vegetation - both without asking us for any compensation.  Last year, you provided the club with a significant number of golf certificates that we were able to sell, which helped pay for the wind screens that we installed.  As well, you have contributed regularly to our silent auction fund raisers.  For all of this, I say "THANK-YOU".  The club is fortunate that you represent our very close neighbour at the tennis courts.
